Amazing! I love the colors, expressions, personality, and skill of Kadir Nelson's work. I can't believe how many lovely pictures are in this book. Every once in a while he uses a two page spread to make an image really stand out. The one of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Big Band picture are so rich in emotion and really go with the text's passion.

I could say a lot more, but I'll save that for you all personally in January ;-)

I'm speechless -- this book is -- I'm speechless (in a good way).

Thanks for sharing that link, Becky! It's definitely worth the couple of minutes it takes to watch it. What an amazing artist -- you're right, words just aren't enough.
