This title was suggested by a reader of this blog -- and the illustrations are wonderfully endearing. I like that the illustrations add to the humor of the poems -- the ostrich is my favorite! I was surprised that the illustration were done in watercolors -- many of the colors are very bold, unlike what I'm used to seeing with this medium.

"Button Up!" is my favorite out of all the books on the lists. The poems are very good but the illustrations make them great. There is a nice variation in the sizes of the illustrations. The colors fit the poems. The animals' expression are wonderful. And, the end pages aren't dull either. My favorite is Emily's Undies. What a great book! Make sure you get a chance to look at this title.
