What a beautiful combination of paint and fabric to illustrate a beautiful story! The bright colors and prints in the fabric are wonderful expressions of hope, and the expressions one the painted faces are phenomenal.

I agree Kris! These illustrations are beautiful. I want to hang them on my wall (or have clothing made out of the same fabrics).

I also appreciate the choice of font used for the repeated "thayu nyumba" phrase. It is a small detail that really adds to the overall feel of the book.
