2011 Mock Caldecott Winners!



















I'm very pleased to be able to announce the winning titles in our Mock Caldecott Election, which was held this morning at the Main Library in downtown Fort Wayne. Twelve enthusiastic picture-book-lovers met to learn, ponder, discuss, and vote on which picture book deserves the honor of being "the most distinguished American picture book for children".

The result was a very close race -- there were many, many strong contenders this year! When the dust cleared and the final votes were tallied, the winning title was...
