It was fascinating to hear E.B. Lewis explain the process that he uses to create his beautiful illustrations at the CYPD conference on Monday.

Absolutely gorgeous illustrations, I think the watercolor technique and the color choices are excellent, especially for evoking the feeling of fear of the unknown in the wooded scenes when James is running. This is one of my favorites.
