Beautiful book.

I think you guys should add Coretta Scott (illustrated by Kadir Nelson) to the mix; I think it came out in January. Keep up the good work!

This is a beautiful interpretation of the poem. I love the two-page illustrations of water scenes (the one that is on the cover, and the one of the single boy in a boat at dusk in particular).

The illustrations have a warm, personal feel that is delightful.

With only one line of verse per double-spread painting, this book is E.B. Lewis' visual interpretation of Langston Hughes' famous poem. Simply beautiful!
