It's Almost Time for List 2...

Can you believe it's mid-August? Kids are getting ready to go back to school, shadows are getting longer, cicadas are singing at top volume level, and....we'll soon be posting our second "short list" of titles for this year's Mock Caldecott discussion. Which titles do YOU think are worthy of being kept and brought to the table for in-person discussion in January? Are there any titles we've missed that should be added? Let us know -- by the end of this month we will be compiling List 2, and we'd love to have YOUR input!

What about "Button Up! by Alice Schertle and Petra Mathers? I see it's gotten a several starred reviews.
