Coming Soon -- Short Reading List #1

Gosh, what a great crop of picture books we've seen so far this year!  Very soon, we will be looking at the titles we've posted and narrowing them down into a "Short Reading List".  The books on this short list will be the ones we bring to the in-person discussion in January.  These will be the books we think might just have what it takes to win that oh-so-prestigious Caldecott Medal! 

So, what titles would YOU like to see us add to this list?  Which are your favorites?  Which are truly distinguished?  Inquiring minds want to know!  Respond to this post in the comment field, or send us an email with your favorite titles.
